Exercise Therapy is a functional approach to musculoskeletal disorders, used to assess and treat patients with illnesses, injuries and dysfunction in the locomotor system. To correct the inefficiency of specific muscles or muscle groups and regains normal range of joint movement without delay to achieve efficient functional movement.

Passive Mobilization Techniques
Mobilization of joints: These are usually small repetitive rhythmical oscillatory, localized accessory, or functional movements performed by the physiotherapist in various amplitudes within the available range, and under the patient’s control.
Manipulation of joints: These are accurately localized, single, quick decisive movements of small amplitude and high velocity completed before the patient can stop it. Manipulation of joints performed either by Physiotherapist or Surgeon under anaesthesia.

BRIME: Brief repetitive isometric exercise is an alternative method of muscle strengthening especially for static muscles. It is a voluntary contraction which performs against maximum resistance. Up to 20 maximum contractions, each held for 6 second, performed daily. Knee arthritis patients can practice this exercise for strengthening the extensor muscles.
